Our Story
A student-run home bakery making the cookies you've been missing since you got to college.
How It Started
Katered Kneads started because we kept asking: why does so much "homemade" food taste like it came from a bag? We decided to do something about it.
We serve UC Berkeley and UC Davis through limited biweekly drops. We keep quantities deliberately small so every single bake gets the attention it deserves. When your order arrives, it was made for you — not sitting on a shelf.
Every drop is different. The lineup rotates, new items show up, and classics come back when the season's right. That's the point — this isn't a chain. It's a bakery with a personality.
The one in the kitchen. Obsessed with getting every recipe exactly right — no shortcuts, no compromises, every single batch.
The one who makes it all run. From logistics to drops to keeping every order on track — the engine behind the operation.
"We started Katered Kneads because we believe everyone deserves a truly great cookie — made by hand, with real ingredients, and absolutely no shortcuts."
Don't Take Our Word for It
"The mochi brownies are unlike anything I've ever had. I set an alarm for the drops now — absolutely worth it."
"You can actually taste the difference when something is made from scratch. These cookies are the real deal."
"I ordered on a whim and now I catch every single drop. Cannot miss one."
